Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno said Resilient City concept becomes a concern for big cities in the world. This makes Jakarta Provincial Government to be also ready to implement it.

According to him, resilient city defines a strong city with good concepts, such as transportation system construction.
"Jakarta is ready and support Resilient City concept implementation in the future," he expressed, when he attended in the 15th anniversary of Civil Engineering National Summit Universitas Indonesia (CENS UI) at Birawa Assembly Hall, Tebet, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/15).
City Prepares Resilient City Strategic PlanSurely his side is welcoming and giving appreciation to 15th anniversary of CENS UI themed "Developing Urban Transportation System".
"I want to gain knowledge from the expert here. There are so many tasks need to be done, not only about transportation, but all of it must be done thoroughly and comprehensively," he exclaimed.
He hoped CENS UI seminar could educate people to be ready for any risks in becoming resilient capital. Besides, he considered, solutions that were previously unthinkable are needed to solve the existing problems.
